weld fixture

This weld fixture was designed for one of Arpac's robotic weld cells. It is configurable for the production of two different assemblies, each consisting of five components, and is capable of restraining all ten parts using only four clamps. This design was successfully produced without any physical prototyping.



eltek valere
outdoor enclosures

I was directly responsible for the design of a large number of Eltek Valere's GR-487-CORE certified outdoor enclosures. I was also contracted for the mechanical design of a number of custom cooling solutions.



miami int'l airport
ceiling system

This spherical ceiling system was designed for the Miami International Airport Concourse J expansion. The final assembly is 37 feet wide, and consists of 220 panels of 17 unique shapes. Not shown are the 100,000+ slots required to achieve the desired perf pattern. This design required extensive utilization of family tables and scripting in order to be developed on time and within the client's budget. The flat panels very closely approximate a spherical surface, and it was successfully built and installed without revision.

Pay-Ease is a leading provider of kiosk-based bill payment solutions. I was largely responsible for every stage of this design, from initial concept renderings, to modeling, to production-ready drawings. The development cycle for this project from sketch to working prototype was less than six months.

wire lubrication system

The Soaper Monkey is an innovative wire lubricating system that greatly reduces the labor required to pull large wire bundles. I was contracted to create models and production documentation from the variety of information sources utilized during the development of this product.



u.s. embassy
ceiling system

This saucer dome ceiling sytem was designed for the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. It consists of a series of perforated panels which clip together at the seams. The finished assembly is truly spherical in shape, and is currently installed in Berlin.



z-dump
pickup dump bin

The Z-Dump is a dump bin that is able to be mounted in a pickup bed with a minimum of destructive modification to the truck. This design was completed in less than eight weeks, and is lighter, stronger, and less costly than the initial concept.
